We’re Chris & Laury, seeking to live as ambassadors of Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
Right now, we’re based in Paderborn, Germany. We’re thankful for God’s blessings and for our church family at CGS, where we get to grow, serve, and be encouraged.
We don’t have everything figured out yet. But we’re saying “yes” to the journey God has planned for us and trusting Him as we go.
A few highlights from the journey so far

Laury volunteered at PaderKids for several years, a one-week Christian kids’ camp (7–12). With Bible stories and lots of activities, kids build friendships and learn more about God.

My brother and I had the opportunity to volunteer with our current church, ChristenGemeinde Stadtheide e.V. in Germany, for one year. During that time, we helped with practical tasks and grew a lot spiritually.

I’m grateful to serve in the worship team at our church and help lead people into worship.

During our time with the Avoda Foundation, we felt a calling to start a football league where young people from different villages could train with us a few times a week. It became a simple way to build friendships, share the gospel, and come together for weekend competitions.

I had the opportunity to serve with Deidox, a U.S.-based nonprofit creating Christian films such as Free Burma Rangers. I helped build their online learning platform and supported the organization’s website.

Over several seasons, we served in the kids’ ministry at our church, helping lead the children’s group and creating a fun, safe place for kids to learn about Jesus.

After praying about it for a long time, I had the opportunity to join a short mission trip to Kyrgyzstan with Bible Mission. It was eye-opening and deeply encouraging to serve together and meet brothers and sisters in Christ from different places.

Our beliefs align with our church’s statement of faith. We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and we affirm the Bible as God’s Word and our final authority for faith and life.
